Childlike wonder is lost on the children that are fortunate enough to possess it.
They know not what a powerful thing that they possess.
Those of maturity are tainted by their experience and the lives that they have led.
It seems that if one is to ever have that childlike wonder of the world, they only option is to return to the time of youth.
That simple time when life wasn’t so complicated, so busy and filled up.
I have heard it said that a full life and a fulfilled life are two things that coincide.
In the times when I wish that I could see the world through the eyes of a child, I doubt this to be true at all.
I think it must not be possible to have that sense of wonder and be able to appreciate this perspective.
I think that in order to understand the power of perspective, you have to have lived for a number of years that makes a simple childlike perspective impossible.
How sad this is.
